Hello, MLC Community!

Every year since 1983, MLC has celebrated the winter solstice and the short winter days by looking forward to the sunny days ahead. This year's event will be Thursday, December 16 and more information about how to view the event is forthcoming. In the meantime, the Solstice committee is looking for a few adult helpers for December 16. Email me if you are interested in either spot:

FIRE STARTER: An adult helper is needed to start the Solstice Fire in a fire bowl located on the blacktop around 2:30 PM.

DRUM CIRCLE LEADER & PARTICIPANTS: Help lead the drum circle starting at around 2:30 PM. Bring your drum and join in. 

One last request: We're looking for a MLC Staff Gift Coordinator that can gather gift card donations, holiday greeting cards, and student art for our amazing MLC staff. If you can take on this job, let me know!
