How and what to donate to the CCFP

When you donate to the CCFP, you are donating to children and families in your community. It can be easy to fall into the trap of "wishful donating" or thinking that "someone can use it!" Instead, give your item a nice Marie Kondo farewell and if it does not fit the criteria of what the CCFP can take, recycle or re-use the item or throw it away.

Donation guidelines:

Before you donate used clothing, ask yourself:
  • Am I giving this to the CCFP because it's basically new, in style, clean, and not damaged (no stains, rips, tears, or smells)?
  • Is it appropriate for the current weather? (We don't have storage capacity for non-seasonal wear.)
  • Is it size 5T or larger? (Clothes need to fit kindergarten to 18-year olds. No baby or toddler clothes.)

Please DO NOT donate:
  • Shoes with more than a small amount of wear
  • Used pajamas
  • Used undergarments
  • Used workout clothing
  • Used bras
  • Used socks
  • Baby or toddler items
  • Items that are ripped, stained, or needing repair
