MLC PTSA’s mission is to develop community and ensure that any opportunity available through MLC is available to any student, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and a part of the Oregon PTA.
True to our name, all parents*, teachers, and students are invited to attend and contribute to our meetings. Membership with MLC PTSA is required for voting but not required for attendance. Join here: PTSA Membership.

How does the PTSA raise money?
The PTSA raises funds through our community (monthly contributions AND MLC Champions), merchandise such as our super cool t-shirts and our largest fundraiser, the annual auction. We also raise funds through these programs:
Box Tops for Kids: Drop your box tops in collections boxes outside K-3 classrooms and in the front office.
Amazon Smile: Be sure to indicate MLC PTSA as the recipient of the Smile funds.
Bottle Drop: Bring your refundable cans and bottles to MLC and we'll take care of the rest!
E-Scrip: Earn cash for MLC where you shop! Check out escrip.com to get started. Our group ID number is 8564732.
Don't forget, your donation to the MLC PTSA is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law! Our tax ID# is: 93-1026405
Where does the money go?
Because of MLC's mission of experiential learning, field trips and activities off-site are a major component of what makes MLC great. The majority of the PTSA budget goes towards scholarships to students making sure that all of the children in our community are able to participate--regardless of their family's ability to pay.
