Hello, MLC Community, I hope that your holiday break has been restful and restorative. The PTSA has been cooking up a fundraising event that will replace the annual auction* and we're super excited to announce... THE MLC BACKYARD CONCERT TOUR 2022 WHAT IS THS? A series of small music concerts hosted by MLC families Each event will feature a different music genre with food & drink options GET INVOLVED! Interested in hosting? Interested in performing? Know a band or musician who wants to perform? Interested in helping with ticket sales and other tasks? FIILL OUT THIS FORM: https://forms.gle/gXxP1RaruB3jVNqE7 *WHY NO AUCTION? The short answer is that an auction is an enormous amount of work and no one has volunteered to take it on. Plus, a large event in this pandemic era could be easily cancelled. A series of smaller events will raise funds while still building our MLC community. One of my favorite parts was our live entertainment, courtesy of Joelle Graff on her banjo, 4th grader Greta on fiddle, and Peter Siegel on accordion.
